About Physician Assistant Jobs

Physician assistants practice medicine under the supervision of a licensed physician. Physician assistants provide a broad range of preventive and medical services to patients. These may include, but are not limited to, conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, counseling on preventive health care, assisting in surgery, and writing prescriptions.

Physician assistants must graduate from an accredited, two-year program and pass the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination to become a certified Physician Assistant.
