As a travel occupational therapist, you're in control of where and when you want to work. You’ll work with your recruiter to select a new assignment every few months, or settle in one area and experience all it has to offer. Starting your career as a travel occupational therapist is relatively simple. Just follow the steps below:

This is normally conducted by phone and is your chance to ask questions about the facility, your responsibilities, and decide if the assignment will be a good fit for you.
If you and the facility decide it’s a match, your recruiter will begin managing your transition, including gathering documentation and assisting you in housing arrangements, coordination of pre-employment compliance forms, and day one instructions for your new travel OT job.
