Our local per diem professionals are entitled to enroll in the Onward Healthcare health insurance program that is available at the time of your registration, following one-month of "full-time" employment. Information about the plan can be mailed to you by our benefits administrator upon your request and participation is optional. Upon enrolling in the program, you must maintain a set working schedule with Onward Healthcare to maintain your coverage.
Upon completion of certain qualifying requirements, Onward offers its employees an opportunity to participate in the Onward vacation plan. Please contact your recruiter to discuss the requirements for participating in this plan as it may differ from office to office.
Onward Healthcare offers a $500 to $1000 referral bonus when you refer a local per diem nurse who completes eighty (80) hours of work. In order to receive this reward, the new employee and the referring employee must be actively working with Onward. You can start referring local per diem nursing professionals now, by using our online Refer-A-Friend form.
Our 401k plan is available to our local per diem professionals after the completion of 1000 hours of service within a 12-month period. Once your hours requirement is met, you may enter the plan upon the next enrollment date if you so choose.
