The fall season is upon us, and with it, Onward Healthcare is kicking off its 2012 Traveler Photo Contest! Anyone working in travel healthcare, whether through Onward Healthcare, another agency, or as an independent contractor, is invited to participate!

Additionally, five photographers will receive "Honorable Mentions", and will receive either a signed copy of Epstein LaRue's travel nursing book "Highway Hypodermics", or a copy of "The Art Of Photography", by Bruce Branbaum.

To enter, simply e-mail your photos to photos@onwardhealthcare.com along with a few sentences about where the picture was taken -- and include your name, profession, and mailing address. Submissions will be accepted from Monday, September 17th, 2012 through Friday, November 2, 2012. Entrants must be working in a travel healthcare position (nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, nurse practitioner, etc) to be eligible to win. Only one finalist photo will be accepted per person, but you can submit as many times as you like!
Once the submission deadline is over, we'll select our top finalists. Each finalist will have their own page on Onward Healthcare, where our viewers may vote for their favorites by "liking" them on Facebook. Winning photos will also be featured in the Onward Healthcare blog, on our Pinterest, and on our Facebook page, with the first name and location of the photograph used. Voting will run for two weeks -- from Tuesday, November 6th, 2012 through Tuesday, November 20th, 2012. In the case of a tie, a five-day runoff will be held. Otherwise, a winner will be announced by Saturday, November 24, 2012.
Please take care if your photos include sculptures, statues, paintings, or other works of art -- we cannot publish any picture that would result in copyright infringement. Please submit the photos in their original form, with minimal Photoshopping an no watermarks/branding included. We reserve the right to use our judgment and common sense in determining if the photo is appropriate for submission. By submitting your photo, you grant Onward Healthcare irrevocable, perpetual, and worldwide non-exclusive permission to use, reproduce, display, and create derivative works of the photo on its blog, social media accounts, website, and other media -- both in print and digital form.
By submitting a photo for this contest, you accept responsibility for having obtained any releases and consents needed to allow for the exhibition and use of the photograph on Onward Healthcare's blog, social media accounts, website, and other media, both in print and digital form. Qualifying entrants must provide valid means by which we can send them their prize before the end of the contest date. If your mailed prize is returned or your prize proves to be otherwise undeliverable, we will be forced to choose a new winner. This contest is void where prohibited.
