Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse

St.Joseph Health, St. Mary, fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations, has one of the High Desert's fully accredited cardiovascular surgery programs and the area's only Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
14 Beds in unit. 190 Births per month. CCS Designation. Our top procedures are RDS and Prematurity. We do central lines, ROP exams, Spinal Taps, Intubations, and no surgeries are performed at this facility. Common Equipment used in our unit: ventilators, oscillators, CPAP, BIPAP, smart pumps, feeding pumps, isolettes, and warmers. While working in our NICU unit, you may float to Peds, or MBU, couplet care occasionally.
