Job Description & Requirements

Intensive Care Nurse - ICU Nurse

2 year(s) of experience required; 26 beds in unit Will take 1st time travelers but they need to understand that this is a very busy critical unit Common diagnosis / Types of patients: very critical patients ortho, many vents neuro, EVD delirium assessments, laminectomy sepsis DKA, (IF THE TRAVELER DOES NOT HAVE NEURO EXP THEY WILL NOT TAKE THESE PATIENTS Additional Notes: this is a very busy unit nurse must be a good multitasker good team player and they will work very hard on this unit but there is a lot of support of staff available

Required Qualifications

ACLS, BLS ACTUAL and CURRENT NY license. 2y year(s) of experience required Drips-vasopressors all sedation Propofol titrating drips is required
