Medical Surgical Nurse

Required Qualifications

Must have Valid VA RN or Compact RN Lic to Submit -3 years in the acute care inpatient setting -BLS -Strong surgical experience including colorectal surgery, management of new ostomy/ileostomy, bariatric surgery, plus general surgery. -Strong medical experience including care/management of patients w/ pancreatitis, hepatobiliary disease, Crohn's, IBS -Comfort/experience working with patients who are prolonged NPO requiring enteral and parenteral nutrition

Preferred Qualifications

-Experience with complex wounds -EPIC used for charting -Experience with discharge teaching, especially for patients with new ostomies -Experience with solid-organ transplant patients (meds)
