Job Description & Requirements

Medical Surgical Nurse

Additional Requirements: o Experience providing education specific to patients with problems of the feet related to chronic conditions. o Experience in at least one of these areas: Wound Care, Nurse Treatment Room, Minor Injury Clinic, and/or Emergency Room. o Previous foot care experience. o Demonstrates clinical nursing and leadership skills. o Able to type 20 words per minute. o Demonstrates effective interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills. o Willingness to learn computerized information systems. o Demonstrates ability to work within teams and within a dynamic work environment. o Customer focused. o Working knowledge of current foot care procedures. Preferred Qualifications: o Previous experience with population care/case management, triage and advice preferred. o Current or future bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred. o One (1) year of foot care experience preferred. o Certification for foot care and/or wound care preferred. o Knowledge base specific to high risk foot care preferred.

Required Qualifications

Experience 2 years in Acue/Ambulitory Care BLS, OR and WA license (both required within 6 months of hire)
