Unit Information per the manager:
"Other Helpful or Misc. Information: The staff in this unit care for both inpatient and observation patients. The charting is slightly different between the two. I am hiring the travelers for our transition area mostly, which is a unit in the ED that cares for admitted patients waiting for bed placement. This area has patients that are the typical med/surg/tele type. It is faster paced then a typical medical floor. Nurses need to be flexible, quick paced, and efficient in admitting patients"
