Pediatric Intensive Care - PICU Nurse - Travel - (PICU RN)


44 critical care beds. Very acute patients on this unit. The manager typically requires a minimum of 3-4 years solid PICU experience from a Children's hospital. Will float to other ICU's and acute care. This is a general PICU unit with a lot of Neuro, Septic, Hem/Onc and Respiratory patients. Also deal with transplants pre and post surgery. Neuro does deal with intracranial devices so experience with devices nice but not required. RT's on floor will take care of vent patients. If floor is busy will float RN's to Trauma Unit. Staff will also float to NICU and Cardiac at times. Medical staff consists of Residents, Fellows and Attendings.

Required Qualifications

Years of Experience: 4. TX or Compact Lic BLS PALS 3 years Children's hospital PICU experience required 4 yrs level one exp
