Travel Nurse Salary: How Much Does a Travel Nurse Make?
Depending on your specialty, assignment location and facility, your travel nursing salary may differ. Normally, an hourly pay rate will range from $35 to $44 per hour.
In addition to higher take-home pay rates, many of our travel nursing jobs offer shift differentials for afternoon and night shifts, with increased rates for each hour worked.
Many of our clients also offer lucrative completion bonuses, which can range from $500 to $6,000 for a 13-week assignment.
- Guaranteed Pay Program: Onward Healthcare offers a Guaranteed Pay program at thousands of hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout the United States. Our Guaranteed Pay plan means you’re assured a paycheck, even if your shift gets cancelled. You’ll also get paid on your next check instead of waiting until your assignment ends. Some conditions apply; please contact your recruiter for details.
- Direct Deposit: We also offer direct deposit, so you can have your paycheck deposited into your bank account quickly and safely. Direct deposit is the most convenient way to access your travel nursing salary, no matter where your travels may take you.
- Referral Program: Do you love your travel nursing job with Onward? Spread the word! Refer a friend or colleague to Onward and you’ll be eligible for a bonus of up to $1000. You receive your check after your nursing referral completes a full assignment. Check out our nursing referral page for more details .
